1. Raffle tickets will not be sold to a person under the age of 18 years.
2. Raffle ticket sellers will be required to tell the ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 years on the ticket due to Public Trustee Act requirements
3. The DreamLife Lottery is intended for Alberta residents only. Tickets will not be sold or advertised to residents outside the province of Alberta.
4. 7,500 single tickets are available at $100 each. 4,500 (1,500 3 packs) tickets are available at 3 tickets for $250. Total tickets printed is 12,000.
5. The EARLY Bird Draw of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado LT 4x4 and a 2008 Starcraft Tent Trailer will be held September 5,2008 in the CRH atrium (960 19 St. S, Lethbridge, AB). The deadline for ticket purchases for the EARLY Bird Draw will be September 1, 2008 at Midnight. The winning ticket will be returned to the barrel for inclusion in the chance to win all remaining prizes. The Grand Prize draw for all ticket purchasers will be held September 19, 2008 in the CRH atrium (960 19 St S, Lethbridge, AB). The deadline for final draw ticket purchases will be September 15, 2008 at Midnight. The subsidiary prizes will be drawn starting with the prizes of lesser retail value to those of most value. Every ticket drawn will be returned to the barrel for chances to win remaining prizes and the Grand Prize. The final draw will be the Grand Prize Dream Home after all subsidiary prizes have been drawn.
6. If 5,000 tickets are not sold by September 5, 2008 the raffle may be cancelled with AGLC approval.
7. No cash will be offered as an option in lieu of any prizes with the exception of Grand Prize.
8. Winner of the Grand Prize has a choice of the Home or $350,000 Cash. The winner has until September 26, 2008 (one week) at Noon to inform the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation which prize they have chosen to accept. After which, the cash will take precedence.
9. Prizes will be awarded “as is” according to vendor specifications. Pertinent details will be available at the Foundation office or vendor locations.
10. All prizes will be new.
11. The EARLY Bird and Grand Prize winners will first be contacted by phone at any available home or work phone numbers. If they cannot be contacted by phone, a letter will be mailed to the address indicated on the ticket. All other prize winners will receive a letter confirming their prize. All winners will also be posted at the Foundation Office (960 19 St S) and at www.dreamlifelottery.ca. All prizes will be held for one year from the draw date. If the prize has not been claimed, the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation will make a request to AGLC to use the prize or the proceeds of its sale to benefit the Foundation.
12. There are no restrictions on the licensee staff and board members purchasing tickets
13. If a winning ticket is purchased in the name of more than one person, the prize can be awarded to any name listed on the ticket. The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise.
14. Once a ticket has been purchased, refunds will not be granted. The only exception would be in the unlikely event the raffle is cancelled. At that point, AGLC rules and guidelines will be followed for proper reimbursement to all ticket buyers.
