T’was the night before Christmas and all through the land,
Everyone, young and old, had a book In their hand!
They could not go to bed, there was too much to see
As the browsed through the books on their new Christmas Tree.
There’s the last Harry Potter...what a find series ending!
And Deaver’s latest mystery will keep your mind bending.
A Thousand Splendid Suns, is amazing, I’ve heard,
And, look! Harper Lee’s, to Kill a Mocking Bird!
Each one found a title that suited there needs,
And they all settled down for a good hearted read.
And we heard them exclaim as they took their first look,
“Merry Christmas to all and to all a good book!”
