Twelve Days of Christmas

Experience the 12 Days of Christmas in a whole new way! Each enchanting resin ornament is cast from an original Jim Shore woodcarving, then carefully painted in a myriad of eloquent colours and patterns. Four sets of the Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments combined with 150 feet of wired ribbon and beaded pears were used in this elegant creation. These collectible American Folk Art pieces are exquisitely detailed and fun to behold.

The enormous popularity of award-winning artist Jim Shore is the result of a lifetime of dedication, inspiration and plain old hard work. Jim Shore grew up in rural South Carolina, the son of artistic parents who instilled a love of traditional values expressed in American Folk Art. His grandmother was a master quilter who taught him an appreciation for the patience and skill required to bring intricate designs to life. Jim drew inspiration from these roots. There is an innocence and purity to the quilts, appliqués and folk scenery found in the early days of our country. Taking designs from quilting, rosemalling, appliqué and flat perspective folk art, Jim creates intricate and colourful works of art that reflect our shared cultural heritage, yet is unmistakably Jim Shore. Mr. Shore has received multiple awards for the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers, the premier trade organization in the gift and collectible industry.
