14th Annual Val Matteotti Italian Open - Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Lethbridge Country Club
The 14th Annual Val Matteotti Italian Open was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Lethbridge Country Club. Once again the event was completely sold out and sponsors and golfers enjoyed a terrific day on the course. Thanks to the generous contributions from our long time and new supporters, the Italian Open has now contributed over $830,000 to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation. Grazie!
This years tournament highlights included the Matteotti Cash Give-A-way, the Foster and Son's Jewellers Rolex Give-A-Way, a fantastic registration gift provided by the Bank of Montreal and of course, the chance to win $250,000 towards the purchase of an Italian made Ferrari, amazing prizes as well as hole in one and on course competitions. In addition, all sponsors were treated to a very special appreciation dinner sponsored by Flora Matteotti and hosted by Tony Rose and Rocco Suriano of CoCo Pazzo Italian Café.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the continued support of Tournament Patrons, Val and Flora Matteotti! Val and Flora sit on the Organizing Committee along with Tournament Founder John Talerico, Founding Organizers Tony Rose and Rocco Suriano, Debra Ramage, Executive Director, CRH Foundation and Jason VandenHoek, Fund Development Coordinator, CRH Foundation.
